Rim Lock is ideal for Super-Single,
high flotation type, tubeless tires. Industries, such as
Waste Disposal and Concrete mixer, are discontinuing the
use for the standard 10.00 x 20" tires and wheels
and are converting their steering axles to the
Super-Single 18.00 x 22.5" tire. As a result, the
original equipment Cast Spoke Wheel Clamps barely hold
the wheel in position on the mounting ring of the new
tubeless demountable rim. Rim Lock completely
engages the mounting ring on the tubeless demountable
rim, avoiding slippage. Rim
Lock Clamps:
 | Make it virtually impossible for
the lock-ring to separate from the rim. |
| Reduces the problem of losing a
tire or lock-ring during sudden tire deflation while
driving. |
| Tires can now be inflated without
removing the rim from the vehicle (except when the
tire has been run 20% or more underinflated). |
| Replace a wide variety of rim
clamps for steering axles, making it a universal
clamp - eliminating the need for large inventories
of rim clamp parts. |
